Musanze Urban Water Resilience Project

In this project, the Rwanda Young Water Professional (RYWP) partnered with the World Resources Institute (WRI), as the Urban Water Research Consultant, to develop an urban water resilience action plan for the City of Musanze using the City Water Resilience Approach (CWRA) framework. The main activities included: i) developing and implementing the stakeholder engagement plan, ii) conduct background research on the water context of the city and develop a city characterization report, iii) develop the baseline spatial analysis for the city, iv) develop the stakeholders workshops to assess the water resilience challenges faced by Musanze city, develop opportunities that could address those challenges and v) developing the Musanze city water resilience profile
